REAL Board, staff, volunteers and members are saying farewell to Susan Brandum as she continues her career path in the environmental sector.  Sue has been REAL’s Environmental Projects Manager and the Executive Director of the REAL Deal Reuse Store.  She has been the face of REAL in the community since she joined the organization in 1996, and began a series of programs under the Lanark Leeds Green Community banner.  In her 21 years with REAL Sue played a leading role in a number of successful community environmental projects, including collaborating with other green communities to develop the EnerGuide for Houses program, developing and delivering the national award-winning Well Aware program, and launching and growing the REAL Deal Reuse Store.  

Sue’s resignation was effective December 31, 2017.  We will miss her and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.  Her contributions have been a key element in creating the strong, well-respected environmental non-profit that REAL is today.
