Donating to REAL
The Rideau Environmental Action League (REAL) is a non-profit, volunteer-run environmental organization. We have been active in our community since 1989. We gratefully accept donations of any size from residents, groups or businesses. Every dollar counts!
REAL is registered registered charity with the Revenue Canada, and can issue charitable tax receipts for income tax purposes. Our charitable number is 13120 0800 RR0001.
How to Donate
By Cheque
Donations made cheque payable to “REAL” or “The Rideau Environmental Action League” and mailed the REAL, Box 1061, Smiths Falls, ON K7A 5A5. Contributions will be receipted promptly.
By Credit Card
Donations can made credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) through Canada Helps, by clicking on link below, or by PayPal using the form. A receipt will be issued immediately via e-mail.
CanadaHelps makes charitable giving easy. Through CanadaHelps.org, anyone can donate securely online to registered Canadian charity. The amount donated will the appear on credit card statement as payment to Canada Helps. (Note that Canada Helps assesses 3.75% transaction fee on donations.)

Cash contribution can made REAL Deal Store and Environment Centre, located are 85 William St. W., Smiths Falls, Wednesdays throught Saturdays, 10 a.m – 5 p.m. A receipt will be issued within a few weeks.
