Thanks to all the Smiths Falls residents who participated in this year’s Pitch In Smiths Falls and Shoreline Cleanups.  You really made a difference!   The shoreline cleanup collected 372 pounds of garbage on a very wet Saturday.  Groups, families and individuals cleaned about 30 sites across town over the two week period, April 15-29.

Several participants won prizes for participating and submitting photos of people in action.  Gift baskets went to Community Living Smiths Falls,  the Smiths Falls Scouts and Heather McFayden.  A  $10 REAL Deal gift certificate went to Ellie Micol.
