Availability of Audits Through REAL
REAL has a Registered Energy Advisor ready to perform audits. Homeowners will be able to see REAL on the list of potential auditors for the postal code K7A, K7H, K7C and K0G region. Please contact Alan Leonard at [email protected] or (613) 864-3099 if you would like to discuss.

- Up to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners make energy efficient retrofits to their homes, such as better insulation
- EnerGuide evaluations (worth up to $600) and expert advice to homeowners so they can begin to plan their retrofits
- Recruitment and training of EnerGuide energy advisors to meet the increased demand
How does it work:
- Register with the program online.
- Have an EnerGuide Home Energy Evaluation by a Registered Energy Advisor.
- Complete at least one retrofit that is both eligible and recommended by your energy advisor in their report, and keep your receipts!
- Have a post renovation EnerGuide Home Energy Evaluation by a Registered Energy Advisor.
- Apply for reimbursement for the renovations and home energy evaluations.
